On Sept 20, 2002 we bought Water Buffaloes

    We went to the slaughter house intended to buy just one baby water buffalo.  But when we got there, we saw that there were 6 of them destined to be killed soon, 3 females, each with a baby.  So we and Khun Premsak decided to buy all 6 of them to release in the Farm.

    They are extremely tame and gentle, so we decided to keep a pair of mother and baby at the big pond in front of our house (and built an enclosure for them to sleep at night).  This morning, we walked the other two pairs to the big pond down below and  let them roam freely.

    Funny thing is that at 7 pm, all 4 walked back up hill to our house themselves and was calling outside the gate !  Amazing !!!

    How can they remember the way back since they were only here one night and just walked them down once !!!
