Note :  The two smaller turtles had numerous mating attempts  over the years, but we have never found any eggs.  Then last week, we saw that the second male (much larger) dug up a hole that had more than 20 eggs.  Most were damaged while there were babies in them.  We will have to be very careful to keep the large male away next year.
