How Babies are correctly made in Lopburi - 6 May 2006

2 pm 6 May 2006 - In 2005, we found that our female Sulcata turtle laid eggs by digging about a foot into the ground.  Unfortunately we found out about the nest because another male turtle dug up the nest, and (we thought at the time), ruined all the eggs.

Then on May 6th this year (2006), one of the staff found a baby wandering around the horse enclosure.  So hopefully, we will get more this year.

Making babies the wrong way
The pig is now bacon !!!
This is the correct way
From this kissable father
Comes this very cute son or daughter.
So this year, in order to protect the nest

we built this enclosure and hopefully

more will be born :-D

5 pm 6 May 2006 - Later in the day, we found 3 more babies so it looks like they are not from the ruined nest but must be from a separate nest that we did not know about !!!
