á¤çÁ¾ìª¹Ð (Winners' Camp) - Session 1

Lopburi 18-20, 2006

Peem, Taew, along with 13 other friends, organized a 3 days-2 nights camp for 42 under-privileged boys grades 4 to 6 at a farm in the central part of Thailand. These kids came from 2 very poor schools.

We called it “Camp Cha Na” which means “Winners Camp”.  During their stay, besides making new friends and having fun, they learned organizational and leadership skills.  We used various activities such as walk rally, problem solving, and sports to demonstrate the benefits of organization and leadership.

This coming summer, we will organize a similar camp for the girls from the same two schools.  We are also discussing how we can follow-up with the group of kids that have attended the camp this past summer and if we have made any positive impact on them.
