Hatari !!!

Well, we finally finished the fence and the gates at our log home and we are able to let loose several animals to let the roam around freely. The animals include 2 miniature horses, Foy-thong and Touy-foo and their miniature donkey mothers, 2 emus, 4 rheas, and 4 llamas. They are very pleasing to the eyes, especially in the very early morning when they wake up and graze for moist grass in front of the house.

There is a very amusing battle going on (non-lethal) between the dogs and the birds. One of the emus who hates Tang-mo's guts would stalk him and try to kick him. When Tang-mo becomes aware, he would start to bark which would bring the other retired dogs and they start to chase the emu. The emu then would run toward the other emu and the rheas. When they got all the winged troops together, they would turn around and start to chase the dogs in a counter-attack. The dogs would run up on the house at that point. This battle would repeat every hour or so. Quite amusing to us and the llamas.
